Privacy notice
1. Who collects the data
pic! is developed and published by Lab Light Label (business registration in progress; “we”), which collects the data described here. For questions, access or deletion requests, write to lablightlabel@gmail.com.

| Operating system | Required | Decide which installer to provide |

| Page language | Automatic | Reply in the language you use |
| Notice version and time of consent | Automatic | So we can later confirm which version you agreed to |
Purposes: consumer and customer management and service (providing the installer, answering questions); information and database management (keeping applications, serving downloads); investigation, statistics and research analysis (understanding usage, improving the product).
Category of personal data: your email is data that identifies a person. The other fields cannot identify you on their own, but are protected together with your email when stored with it.
Basis: by filling in and submitting the application form yourself, you agree that we collect, process and use the data above as described in this notice.
The support page currently collects no data (payments are not open). If that changes, this notice is updated first.
3. What we do not collect
- No name, phone number, company or address.
- No tracking cookies or advertising, and we do not use browser signals to build a profile of you. A one-time anti-bot check runs when you submit; see “Anti-bot check” in section 4.
- Your IP address is not written to the application database. It is used only briefly on the website side to limit how often one source can submit, and is not otherwise stored. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, and in ordinary network transmission the provider may briefly process technical connection information, as any website does.
- Your browser keeps a few settings on your own device: your language preference, and the application result and download pass (without your email), so you need not refill the form when you return to the download page. The pass expires after 24 hours; you can clear the site’s data in your browser at any time.
4. Period, location, recipients and method of use
- Period: 12 months from your application (see section 6).
- Location: application data is stored in a database in Tokyo, Japan. When you submit, it first passes through Cloudflare’s service nodes (which may be anywhere in the world) before being written to the database; our code does not separately log your email or application content on those nodes.
- Recipients: only us, and the providers we engage to run the service: Supabase (database) and Cloudflare (hosting and delivery, and the anti-bot check when you submit).
- Anti-bot check: the page loads Cloudflare Turnstile only when you press submit, to tell whether the submitter is an automated program. According to Cloudflare, Turnstile processes your connection IP address, TLS fingerprint, User-Agent and browser-environment signals, to detect and block bots and to improve its detection, and not to identify, profile or target individuals. We use only the pass or fail result: we do not log or store these signals and do not write them to the application database. If the check cannot complete, the application is not sent; you can write to us instead.
- Method: collected electronically through the application form, stored electronically in the database, and, where needed, contacting you by email. We currently send no automatic email after you apply; if we do in future, it will be only for the purposes listed above.
5. Use and sharing
- Used only for the purposes listed above. No marketing email; if we ever want to send news or promotions, we will ask separately and get your consent (unticked by default), and you may ask us to stop at any time.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties. If we add a new provider, such as an email service, this notice is updated first.
- We may disclose data when the law compels us to.
6. How long we keep it
Application data is kept for 12 months from your application, then deleted, or reduced to statistics that contain no email or free text (operating system, Photoshop year).
7. Your rights and how to use them
You may ask to: access or view your data, receive a copy, supplement or correct it, stop its collection, processing or use, or delete it. These rights are not limited or waived by using this site. Please write from the email you applied with to lablightlabel@gmail.com (using the same address prevents others from handling your data in your name).
- Access, viewing, a copy: we reply on whether we will comply within 15 days.
- Supplement or correction, stopping collection/processing/use, deletion: we reply on whether we will comply within 30 days.
- If needed the period may be extended, but by no more than the original number of days, and we will tell you the reason in writing (email).
- All of this is free. If we cannot comply (for example because the law requires otherwise), we will explain why.
8. If you do not provide data
Email and operating system are needed to get an installer; without them the application cannot be completed. Leaving optional fields blank does not affect your application.
9. Minors
pic! is meant for design and imaging professionals, not for people under 18. If you are under 18, please get your legal guardian’s consent before applying. If we find we have collected a minor’s data by mistake, you or the guardian may ask us to delete it at any time.
10. The plug-in itself
The pic! plug-in needs no sign-in; your color library, favorites and image color picking are processed locally on your computer, and you keep your own backups. We checked the free edition’s code: it contains no function that sends your library, images or usage records over the network.
11. Security
Data travels over encrypted connections; the database is set so only the server side and the owner can read or write it, the website and browsers cannot read application data, and the access keys are not placed in web pages. No system is absolutely secure. If your personal data is stolen, altered, damaged, lost or leaked, we will tell you by email or a notice on the website once we have established what happened.
12. Changes to this notice
If it changes materially, the version date on this page is updated. If it adds a new use, we get your consent first; we will not add uses by treating continued use as consent.
